Commercial Sales Apprentice

Reports To: Commercial Sales
Department: Commercial

Job Summary/Purpose: Work with Commercial Sales Managers to learn quoting process and expand /develop relationships within our customer profile. Grow customer profile with a goal of managing your own customer based business

Essential Functions:

1. Work with Sales Managers on select quotes
2. Learn process from quote request to quote release
3. Attend Commercial Meetings as needed
4. Request cost for materials specified with select vendors
5. Put internal bids together within Bid-Pro system
6. Generate proposals for select project and customers.
7. Follow up on bids sent to customers
8. Expedite materials and alert shipment delays
9. Manage select order releases
10. Complete Change Orders for select projects
11. Perform other related duties as needed.

Marginal Functions:
1. Become familiar with all RFMS modules
2. Perform other related duties as needed.

Job Qualifications and Requirements:
Education and Training: Min of a 2 year college degree
Special Skills/Knowledge: Good Computer Skills, highly organized with good communication skills

Accounting Internship

FLOOR360 is offering a dynamic opportunity to join our accounting department, fast paced, business casual work environment.  The goal of the FLOOR360 accounting internship is to facilitate a career upon graduation.

This individual will be responsible for the full span on accounting to include Accounts Receivable, Contract Management and Accounts Payable. 

Responsibilities include:

  • Carry out Accounts Receivable activities including AIA billing and change orders.
  • Construction contract activities
  • Prepare and analyze G/L accounts
  • Back up support for accounts payable & payroll.
  • Associate’s degree in Accounting, Business or related field preferred.
  • Construction experience a plus but not required
  • Experience with excel spreadsheet and reconciliation skills
  • Strong organizational skills with ability to remain flexible in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication skills required and willingness to work in a small office environment where multiple hats can be worn on any given day.
  • Be well organized and have a positive attitude and professional demeanor.
