Title: Designer
Studied at Madison College (MATC)
I love design! It’s hard not to get excited about a topic that can lead to so many solutions. I studied Interior Design at Madison College, formally known as Madison Technical College. After that I still felt that was more to learn so I became certified in the design program, Revit. Even after that I am still constantly looking for ways to keep up with the latest trends and software. How can you call yourself creative when you don’t even know what’s out there?
When it comes to my experience I like to think of myself as a well-rounded individual who has worked in commercial and residential design fields, window treatments, and has experience with custom organization solutions as a designer at California Closets. Who says organization has to be boring? There are so many options out there! I like to think of what I do as putting together a large 3D puzzle with my own custom designed furniture and who doesn’t like puzzle?! I also believe having good organization helps make life much easier, which is why I am excited to be on the design team for Design for a Difference Madison, the Respite Center at the Center for Families. I hope that my background can bring the staff and families feeling at peace when they are away from the comforts of home. Angie is now a designer at Allen Kitchen & Bath.
