Responsibilities and Duties

  • Build and maintain a customer base: Through lead generation, prospecting, networking, presentations, exceptional customer service, building relationships with existing customer, referrals, and communicating effectively.
  • Convey a confident expert-level knowledge of products that will inspire trust from customers
  • Uncover client’s needs through active listening then provide design solutions that meet sales goals and achieve customer satisfaction
  • Make occasional job-site visits in client homes
  • Communicate and respond to all inquiries promptly
  • Capture customer lead information and follow-up in a timely manner
  • Generate accurate bids and quotes
  • Follow training and company processes learned through written or oral communication
  • Attend sales department meetings, one on one meetings and all team meetings as scheduled
  • Prepare gift baskets as needed and deliver to customers at your discretion
  • Pursue current knowledge of broader interior design trends
  • Pro-active approach to pursuing referrals and maintaining referral contacts


Qualifications and Skills

    • High level of proficiency with soft skills such as written and oral communication, critical thinking, motivation, positive attitude, teamwork, ethical business behavior
    • Possession of a strong sense of style and taste
    • Design background not required but is a strong plus
    • Demonstrable selling success strongly preferred.
    • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office, including Word & Excel.
    • CAD training a plus.
    • Excellent communication, customer service, and organizational skills
    • An entrepreneurial spirit

Sales Internship

FLOOR360 believes strongly in creating a valuable learning experience for students wishing to learn about working in the interior design and flooring industry. This position is perfect for a student who is studying sales, marketing or interior design and enjoys working with a team and interacting with clients and customers.

Here some of the duties involved with a sales and design internship in the showroom at FLOOR360 :

  • Shadow salespeople when they are working with customers.  This is the best way to find learn about products and communicating with customers.
  • Help fill out sample check out forms for salespeople
  • Help communicate samples that have been returned if the salesperson is not available.  Finding out from the customers how did the samples work, new samples needed etc?
  • Keep showroom clean and organized with samples put away.
  • Label tile and work with Vice President of Sales and Design to get the tile out
  • Work with Vice President of Sales and Design to place new products out on the floor and pull discontinued samples off the floor.
  • Find opportunities to train in product knowledge and sales.
  • The hours and days of the week will be discussed during the interview
  • Help assist in CAD drawings as needed.
  • Helps assist FLOOR360 team as needed.

Warehouse Manager – Milwaukee

FLOOR360 is hiring a warehouse manager for our Milwaukee, WI warehouse operations. We work hard to provide the highest quality of service to our customers, but we also strive to nurture a unique team culture. 

The warehouse manager will oversee the efficient receipt, storage and delivery of flooring products. You’d be responsible for a vital part of the supply chain process, managing people, processes and systems, in order to ensure products are received and dispatched appropriately and safely.

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for physical inventories/cycle counts/random or receipt audits/reconciliations.
  • Researching inventory discrepancies and making necessary corrections.
  • Managing the inventory control function at the site.
  • Resolving inventory problems in a timely manner.
  • Documenting and controlling damaged product
  • Maintaining inventory accuracy metrics and associated reports for management.
  • Reconcile overages and shortages
  • Verify returned goods and damaged products from carriers and re-entering goods into inventory.
  • Must be able to lift 75 lbs

Position Requirements:

  • Must have excellent communication skills (written and verbal) to write reports and findings and present to all levels of management in a clear and concise manner.
  • Exceptional organizational skills, along with strong attention to detail
  • Excellent multi-tasking skills along with ability to perform well under pressure while maintaining composure and respect for everyone
  • Demonstrated excellence in Microsoft Office
  • Attention to detail, great attendance, professionalism, and customer-focused
  • Ability to work increase hours during times of increased business volume
