FLOOR360 has an excellent opportunity for an experienced Commercial Project Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate would have previous experience as Project Manager, Estimator, Superintendent, or Foreman or have other relevant construction experience. This person must be organized, motivated, detail orientated and results-driven. Responsibilities

Your primary responsibility will be to ensure the on-time and accurate completion of commercial projects of all sizes. You are responsible for attending required job-site meetings, ensuring installers are on-site, on-time and completing work to the highest quality standards. You’ll be responsible for working with our warehouse and delivery teams to ensure the right material is on the job-site when needed for installation. You’ll be responsible for communicating changes and needs back to the sales team to create quotes for change orders to complete the job when necessary.

• Read and review blueprints to gain an understanding of project material and installation requirements and perform field measurements when necessary
• Work with warehouse and contractor to schedule material deliveries and inspect on-site for
quality, accuracy, and damage
• Manage daily activity of flooring installers/subcontractors to align with the project schedule
and inspect installations for quality
• Work with purchasing, sales, and vendors to release, expedite and manage materials
• Conduct moisture tests of substrates as materials require
• Inspect jobsites before installation and work with the builder/customer to correct and issues
before installation begins
• Attend weekly construction meetings as necessary
• Perform final quality inspections of all installations and communicate any issues with
subcontractor/installer
• Complete necessary forms to initiate material return or claims

Qualifications
  • Must have a clean driving record and vehicle capable of getting you to and from job-sites
    • Adherence to job-site safety protocols
    • Computer skills are a must – all documents created and shared are digital; Proficiency with
    the use of mobile phones, tablets and desktop computers
    • Read floor plans, blue prints and CAD drawings
    • Ability to manage multiple projects at one time
    • Communication, customer service and organizational skills
    • Respond to all internal and external communication the same day
    • Ability to problem solve to get us to quick, efficient and quality solutions on job-sites
    • Work well within a team setting
