2022 Winner Best Interior Design Badger Craftsman Award

Best interior design winner wisconsin builders association

FLOOR360 interior designer Amanda Oninski collaborated with Ideation Builders to create this primary bathroom that earned a 2022 Best Interior Design Badger Craftsman award from the Wisconsin Builders Association.

The overall design aesthetic of the home is transitional, so that was the starting point for determining the primary bathroom design. When you look at the photos you can see that the design goal was to achieve harmony, balance and openness while adhering to the overall home aesthetic and a monochromatic color palette. To create openness in the space the same hexagon black tile was used in the bathroom and the shower floor, and the same wall tile was used on the shower bench. The natural light that comes through the shower windows reflects off the light wall tile and spreads throughout the space.

The niches that surround the window bring in balance and interest with black herringbone patterned tile. All of the selections in the room were upgrades in quality and cost. The goal was to create a timeless and quality room that will last in style for years to come while adding long-term and resale value to the home.
