INSTALLATION OF THE MONTH – CARPET STAIR RUNNER
This dramatic spiral staircase required a custom carpet stair runner by FLOOR360, which provided a design halo effect that elevated the style of the entire home. The custom home was built by Hart DeNoble Builders, and the interior designer was DesignWell Interiors. The FLOOR360 team added decorations to provide a fun holiday spin on the usual installation-of-the-month project spotlight photos.
THE CARPETING
The carpet chosen was Nourison – Burbank Oatmeal and it is 100% wool with hand-tufted construction to cover the engineered hardwood on the steps in the staircase. Hand-tufting is done by operating a tool by hand that loops the wool through the backing material giving it the artisanal unique character you can see. Because of the material and construction, it can withstand high foot traffic and maintain its beauty and shape for many years making it a worthwhile investment.
STAIR RUNNER INSTALLATION PROCESS
FLOOR360 supplied and installed the carpet, meeting the challenges of measuring, cutting, fabricating and installing this project required. Once the carpet selection is made, FLOOR360 measure specialist takes the measurements so the right quantity will be ordered. When the ordered carpet arrives, our in-house carpet fabricator cuts the carpet and sews a border, we are lucky to have a highly-skilled uniquely trained specialist to accomplish this task on a local level.
