New Design Project: Modern Farmhouse Style

FLOOR360 Director of Sales Jen Fickling recently helped her clients realize their design vision of creating a Modern Farmhouse Style Home. The look was applied in the kitchen, lower level rec room and master bath. The tile accents and hardwood flooring selections were crucial to achieving this stylistic trend. See which materials were chosen and the beautiful end result in the photos and descriptions below.

Kitchen

Tile: RomaLAR Light Grey Glazed 3×6

A timeless classic, subway tile is a great for many kitchens. Here a grey toned subway tile was selected to provide a slight contrast from the crisp white cabinets and off white countertops. A true classic that is easy to care for and easy on the eyes!

Lower Level

Luxury Vinyl Plank: Karndean Van Gogh Plank Reclaimed Redwood and Salvaged Redwood

In this lower level entertaining area a luxury vinyl plank with barn-board appeal was laid around and behind the bar area to give the area a pop of style. The contrasting planks give a reclaimed feel as well as a very easy to clean surface for an area that will likely host food and drinks quite often.

Master Bath

Walls: RomaFLR Carrara Glazed, Accent: Vertex Mosaic Cold Mist, Shower Floor: TrentoQMS Bianco Carrara Hex

Luxury at its finest! This beautiful master shower has all of the bells and whistles and it was put together perfectly. The high end, high style fixtures have a personality all their own and pull in the glitz and glam of the stone, glass & metal accent mosaic. The elongated hex mosaic has a 3D effect where the glass tiles give a depth and shadow and the brushed metallic tiles give a shine and texture. You can see that the hex tiles perfectly wrap the corners of the shower, a beautiful combination of design and installation.
