Wet rooms inside primary bathrooms will continue to be popular in 2023 and into 2024. Wet rooms are glass enclosed spaces that contain both shower heads and a full bathtub, with a floor that’s sloped towards a drain. FLOOR360 supplied the tile and installation for this wet room that was part of a Parade of Homes residence built by Hart DeNoble Builders with interior design by DesignWell interiors.
bringing the outside inside
The design inspiration for this wet room was the great outdoors. Wood-look tile was installed on one wall, and used as the material to build a bench inside the space. The wood wall is styled with a shelf and plants to enhance the outdoorsy feel. The other tile used in the space is the same marble stone look tile that’s installed in the main room.
The floor tile is what brings the whole wet room together. It’s a mix of marble stone and wood look tile in a hexagon shape that gives more of a textured look.
