The fifth Madison area charity that will receive a free Design for a Difference interior makeover will be revealed to an expected crowd of over 300. Matt Muenster host of “Bath Crashers” on HGTV and graduate of UW Madison will talk about his insights and behind-the-scenes experiences with over 200 bathroom remodels. Attendees can bid on items in a silent auction fundraiser while enjoying drinks and food pairings from Blue Plate Catering with live music. “We’re celebrating our fifth year of sponsoring Design for a Difference – Madison,” said Bob Tobe, CEO of FLOOR360. “FLOOR360 couldn’t provide free interior makeovers each year without the Madison interior design community volunteering their talents for six months and generous local businesses who donate time, talent, materials and funds.”

In addition to the FLOOR360 leadership team, leaders from the local non-profits that received Design for a Difference makeovers in the past are expected to speak to the crowd. Karen Menendez-Coller (Executive Director of Centro Hispano) and Sharyl Kato (Executive Director of Rainbow Project) will say a few words about the benefits their organizations have experienced since their facilities received a facelift. The executive director of the non-profit organization that will receive the 2019 makeover will attend and say a few words as well.

Past Madison area non-profits that received a free makeover are the Respite Center at RISE/Center for Families in 2015. Then  The Rainbow Project in 2016, Centro Hispano in 2017. In 2018, the design team and over 200 volunteers executed a 12,800 square foot makeover of East Madison Community Center in Madison, WI.
