FLOOR360 Director of Sales Jen Fickling helped clients realize a modern farmhouse vision across the kitchen, lower-level rec room, and primary bath. Tile accents and flooring selections carried the style. Design is our Difference. Walk-ins welcome; appointments optional.
How did this modern farmhouse project come together?
The look balances crisp cabinetry and classic subway tile upstairs with reclaimed-feel LVP around the lower-level bar and a layered marble-look shower. Product choices below show how material mix sells the trend without losing practicality.
Kitchen
Tile: RomaLAR Light Grey Glazed 3×6 subway. A gray-toned subway provides soft contrast against crisp white cabinets and off-white countertops—a classic that’s easy to clean and easy on the eyes.
Lower level
Luxury vinyl plank: Karndean Van Gogh Plank in Reclaimed Redwood and Salvaged Redwood. Barn-board appeal around and behind the bar adds style in an entertaining zone where waterproof performance matters.
Primary bath / shower
Walls: RomaFLR Carrara Glazed · Accent: Vertex Mosaic Cold Mist · Shower floor: TrentoQMS Bianco Carrara Hex. A high-style shower pairs elongated hex mosaic with glass and brushed metallic accents for depth, shine, and texture alongside refined fixtures.

FAQ
Can I get a similar modern farmhouse look with different products?
Yes. Subway tile, warm wood-look LVP, and marble-look porcelain are widely available in updated lines—bring photos so designers can match tone and scale.
Is LVP a good choice for a lower-level bar area?
Often yes—waterproof performance and wood-look character suit entertaining spaces where spills happen. Confirm wear layer and install method for your slab.
Do mosaic shower accents cost more to install?
Usually—smaller pieces and mixed materials take more layout time. The visual payoff is high when waterproofing and slopes are done correctly.
How long does a multi-room farmhouse remodel take?
Kitchen tile, lower-level LVP, and a full shower are often phased. Ask for a coordinated schedule so trades aren’t stacking on wet areas.
Do I need an appointment to visit FLOOR360?
No. Walk-ins are welcome; appointments are optional at Verona Road in Madison and Silver Spring Drive in Milwaukee.
