luxury vinyl plank refresh
When Morgan decided it was time to give the main living areas in her home a luxury vinyl plank refresh she contacted FLOOR360. The current flooring was carpet from the 1990’s that had seen better days and she needed a flooring solution to meet the needs of her active young family.
"We decided to work with FLOOR360 in Madison, and they made the whole process so easy. Their showroom is huge, and they have just about every flooring option you could imagine. After looking through what felt like endless choices, we landed on a COREtec luxury vinyl plank that checkecd all the boxes for our busy family."

before luxury vinyl plank installation
She chose luxury vinyl plank for the main-level living areas of her home, which included the front entry, back entry, living room, kitchen, dining area, bathroom hallway, and staircase to the lower level. The old floor was original to the house, with carpeting and laminate dating to the 1990’s. Morgan’s household includes three small children plus pets so luxury vinyl plank meets her requirements for durability, low maintenance, and style.
the flooring selection
Making the flooring selection from all available options in a 10,000 sq ft showroom can be overwhelming. That’s why Morgan met with FLOOR360 interior designer Nichole Bodden to narrow down her choices. Nichole is able to listen to all of Morgan’s requirements and style preferences, then translate them to a short list of luxury vinyl plank options for her to choose from. Once Morgan had a short list of options, she took samples home to see how the colors and textures looked in her space morning, day and night. She contacted Nichole with her decision, and the product was ordered – COREtec Red River Hickory.
after luxury vinyl plank installation
Morgan and her husband completed the DIY installation of the luxury vinyl plank soon after FLOOR360 delivered the product to her home. Luxury vinyl plank is very DIY friendly if you have a level subfloor; it’s a matter of cutting and clicking into place. See after photos of the main areas below; the wood-look color matches her interior design style, with a realistic wood look that has visible texture and grain.
helpful start to finish
“I’m so thankful we found FLOOR360 for this project. Their showroom is HUGE, the selection is incredible, and their team was so helpful from start to finish. They made the whole process feel a lot less overwhelming, and we ended up finding a floor that fits our busy family perfectly” – Morgan the Midwest Lady
