Installation of the Month – Whole Home Remodeling Project

Whole home remodeling project collaboration

FLOOR360 and Refined & Co. (formerly Refined Renovations) Milwaukee recently collaborated on a large-scale luxury whole home remodeling project. Refined & Co. led the remodeling project by developing concepts and plans with the homeowners, then collaborated with FLOOR360 to source the specified selections and coordinate expert installation.  See photos of the results from our collaboration and read the design story behind it with quotes from a lead designer at Refined & Co.

Primary Bathroom

The use of large format tiles is a very on-trend design element and FLOOR360 offers many options to choose from. Refined & Co. selection for this Primary bath allows for a seamless marble look with few grout joints, giving it a grand and open feel. Our highly skilled team of tile installers was crucial to the success and beauty of this installation.

HOME OFFICE

“We chose walnut flooring to bring warmth into this home office and designed a herringbone pattern with an inlaid brass border as a subtle but striking design feature.  FLOOR360 presented both herringbone and straight-lay options, which helped bring our brass inlay detail to life.  The final install is simply outstanding”, explains Refined & Co. lead designer. FLOOR360’s wood installer did an amazing job with the custom solid brass inlay in the office, accentuating the true beauty of the floor and the herringbone pattern. The walnut herringbone pattern continued in both the Primary bedroom and library further showcasing its warmth as well as the intricacy of this type of installation.

The attention to detail shown in both the fabrication and installation of the custom wool runner is spectacular. FLOOR360’s in-house carpet installers are true craftsmen and are able to deliver a level of expertise that is second to none. On a whole-home project, FLOOR360 can also help with cabinets, countertops and Hunter Douglas window coverings at either showroom, serving homeowners from Westmorland to Lake Park.
